Does she have a shot?

Seems like from nextdoor, Governor Abbott is popular over there, I imagine he's going to be a tough incumbent to beat.

"What Lupe Valdez is going to try to do is engage the Latino community that 2018 is a steppingstone," said Jones. "The key for Democrats will be that the Valdez candidacy is not a one-off, that it sets things up for another candidate in 2022."

How far away are we from Texas going blue?

If said Lesbian allows chains of their family to come over and stay, then yes. Absolutely.

The headline is "She can win even if she loses."

Not exactly confident if they are already lowering the bar

Governor Abbott is more solid than any other Governor in this country, I see it staying that way.

The talk about Texas going blue is a bit of a reach. I’m not sure where they are getting this information beyond speculations.

Sure, some races have been close, but that is often the case. It’s doesn’t necessarily mean that a strong red state is about to turn blue.

If it happens, it will be due to the influx of Californians, and also DACA recipients and proponents.

Majority of Latinos are Catholic and will not support some lesbian for governor. Abbott has this.

she's a member of law enforcement ... does she not get the same benefit of the doubt regarding bravery as other officers whose bravery you have referred to over time?
