unfortunately this is correct. forget about truth, justice and the American way and grab all you can get for you. be sure to hide some of it from prying eyes of the government.

Obviously. And anyone who thinks people end up in jail over this is stupid. Gumbopot assures me this is true.
I never said you were stupid. I'm just trying to set expectations so there is not a massive disappointment. Trump is only one man, albeit a very important man, and there are checks and balances against him even within his own branch of government that he controls. Specifically civil service laws.
Trump can fire direct appointments but the new appointments have to be confirmed by a swamp senate(and McConnell will never give Trump a recess appointment). It's almost impossible to fire employees so he has to reassign them, convert them to his side of thinking or replace then with MAGA employees through attrition.
Draining the swamp is hard.

If during Trump’s next term, Durham drops the hammer, how many people actually get caught up in the mess and how many are elected officials?
I think a lot of the reason we are seeing these investigations slow walked is that the swamp (including Durham & Barr) are waiting to see if Trump is re-elected. If he is, they will have no choice but to move forward, but if he isn’t, all of these investigations and corruption will be buried and it will be business as usual in DC.
