Police arrested a man in S. Lake Union today after he threw burning lumber into a patrol car. One officer taken to HMC with injuries from the fire. Force Investigators on scene as an officer is believed to have discharged a firearm during the incident:

Ok, as a cop, a man with a burning 2x4 approaches you and you do not shoot the SOB? Has it come to the point that cops are terrified to defend themselves? I mean you know the man walking in the street with a flaming 2x4 is crazy to start with...
