A lot of people out there are not islamaphobic like they are down south

You are simply uninformed. Bias and prejudice exist everywhere.

I was in Philly this past week and saw a few women wearing head scarves working at the local coffee shop.

I see the same here on the gulf coast without incident.

That's great they have jobs and can work wo any conflict. I personally hear more racist comments toward Muslim folks down south than I do when I go up north east.

Please tell me about my opinion of Muslim women.

I'll read it later. I have stuff to do and this place is a damn shitty distraction.

I was born and raised in Boston. Bias and prejudice was invented in Boston. I've seen and heard less since moving south.

What are recently graduated English Lit majors going to do for employment, and how will they pay for their tattoos and piercings?

its not like Starbucks is dictating immigration laws, just hiring the ones that are here

you are saying that 1/2 will bitch that refugees are living off taxpayer money, but if someone gives them a job, they will boycott that business?

so much retardation in this country

I agree with you but its more about the outlook 1/2 the people will have on a company for taking the stance against the policy.

I think they are pulling an Archie Bunker - "When being generous doesn't cost me anything, I go all the way." With Trump in office, not likely that they will be able to hire these refugees.

I'd have some Title VII concerns - are they not discriminating because of "national origin" and possibly "religion?" One could make out a good disparate impact case - their policy would have a disparate impact on non-Muslim applicants.
