Yes- possible to be speaker - but not a member.
The VP is head of senate bc senators were originally intended to be selected by states. Thus, the VP is selected by all the states thru the Electoral College. The only time the VP gets a vote is to break tie. (I think it says that in the COTUS).
The SOH only votes to break tie- but that is by custom. Only members of the HR get a vote on legislation.
So the speaker would basically represent the HR as a governing body, not be a member of it. Would be so glorious if Trump were Speaker. His whole role would be to initiate impeachment proceedings, take the gavel from Nancy and Make America Great Again!

Forget the wet dreams re Trump being Speaker. The Dems will pull the trigger on burning cities (proven over the last few years) and the MSM will back up the 'justifiable outrage' narrative; and as the blood runs in the streets...the Republicans will run for cover. They have proven that re 'Muh Impeachment', and Muh no election fraud. Even Trump's VP...laid down.
Bottom line: if people are not willing to kill or be killed for their Freedom...they will lose it. Because the Commies and their Lower Class 'oppressed' have little to lose and believe their 'oppression' to be a moral atrocity, and therein they will employ killing those who stand in the way of 'equitable' distribution of the GNP.
Nothing changes the above, even if the Republicans sweep the House and Senate. They won't be willing to bear the carnage in the streets, and the Dems know this.
