Definitely not true. You must never have been to Birmingham or Bloomfield Hills. Sh$t ton of money there. When they see the Bugatti gone, they must make their move.

This. The Detroit metro is very segregated between poor inner city and affluent suburbs. I was very surprised by the surrounding areas the first time I went up there given the national reputation that Detroit has

Yep.
Whole point of "8 Mile".
It's the border of Black city and White suburbs.
90% Black on one side.
90% White on other.

Yep 14 Mile ain’t nothing like 8 Mile. Detroit suburbs are actually some of the nicest, cleanest, safest suburbs I’ve ever seen. Detroit has 4 professional sports teams, and those athletes aren’t even close to being the richest in metro Detroit.

Perhaps we should protect ourselves?

Even in crime, Hispanics are better and more eager to overachieve than the normal suspects.

We lived in Birmingham in late 80s. Great place to raise a family. Detroit suburbs were pretty high end.

Good. They "voted" for it.

I swear some of you revel in misery. Unless lessons are learned and voting patterns change there is nothing good about this.
