Because unfortunately, it works very well on your low-IQ voters.
In the TX Dem Senate runoff, James Talerico camp ran ads and sent out materials in the mail and online practically calling Jasmine Crockett an ally of Trump. It seemed to work on low-IQ Democrat voters, which is sad because anyone who pays even half attention knows Crockett and Trump are about the farthest from allies.

Yes, some sugar plantations have legal guest workers from Mexico who come here to plant and then to cut sugar cane. A few stay here year round legally and overhaul tractors and equipment in th offseason.
Sugar mills use legal guest workers from Central America. They are able to harvest cane twice a year and the LA harvest falls right in the middle. Employment in some of these parishes is so low there is no one locally to work the fields.
