Some perspective on this drum beater

I think our brains see a Native American beating a drum and that looks normal. What isn’t normal is to beat a drum in someone’s face repeatedly. This Native American guy is clearly playing dumb... “I’m a naive American just walking around beating my drum because that’s what we do”

He knows EXACTLY what he is doing. He is trying to piss people off and he’s using his cultural tradition to do it, so when someone snaps he can claim the victim. In any other situation we would consider this aggravating, immature, prick behavior. This is why he is so quick to jump on television. Almost like it was all planned

Consider this example. A saints fan walks into a crowd of falcons fans and says (not even yelling) “who dat” repeatedly in someone’s face. Nothing else, just “who dat” over and over. How long before he gets knocked out? Wouldn’t we all, even saints fans, agree that guy is a douche?
But the liberal equivalents to that story would say, “he’s a saints fan, he was just cheering on his team”
