While all animals will be equal, you forget some animals will be more equal...and those are the ones in D.C. It's all about the power.

Agreed. I just can’t believe people would want to live like the ways I indicated.

We know our government is in this, in order to fill their pockets but how could the average American want their money and many freedoms taken away? It’s insane to me.

The part that sucks is those advocating for socialism at the ground level have no idea what it’s like. They see the benefits but pretend there is zero trade off. They don’t understand that socialism is by its nature an authoritarian system of government. They don’t understand that the people you talk to that live in those systems have no concept of what you will be expecting to give up to live under socialism.

Here is an example. My nephew in law wants to move his family from an Atlanta suburb to Munich Germany for 2 years to try it out. He was worried about the cost of moving his furniture and cars to Germany. The company he works for and would be transferring with set him up with a German transition office that could not get him to understand that his cars would be cost prohibitive and that most folks either have 1 or zero cars. His full sized SUV and Crossover are unheard of. And that apartments to rent are going to be considerably smaller than the stuff he was wanting to bring. A king size bed was just impractical.

A fiat can hold a family of 4. A 2 bedroom 600 square foot apartment can hold a family of 4. You only need a dorm room refrigerator because space and electricity concerns. A driver’s license is cost prohibitive and insurance on a fiat is tough, an SUV? Better leave that in the states. 1 TV is fine, you don’t need all these appliances that will not fit your kitchen anyway. Too much furniture just clutters a house. Pick a couple seasonal decorations and leave rest.

All mind blowing to him. And it’s pretty universal to the socialist regimes.
