I haven't watched local BR evening news in long time.
Now I know why.
ETA: I do like NBC Local 33's Chief Meteorologist.
She has very accurate forecast, better than the rest.

Local Newscasts are dying for content. Covid is the best thing to ever happen to them. It gave them something to cover instead of desperately scrolling through community forums on Facebook.

I’m a Trump right winger but the media has cried wolf too many times. No one believes them, but this time the shite has hit the fan. I know too many people in health care including my brother a family doctor. It is real and it is a mess.

We may as well get used to it; the CCP employed this BioWeapon to get rid of Trump, and it worked. Why should they not unleash a 'variant' and embrace plausible deniability when the whole Dem Party and Deep State DC is in their corner.
