I'll foot my part of the bill at first. But you should know that remittances to Mexico and other Central American countries amounted to $29 billion in 2015 (Mexico at $15b and other countries at $14b), and that number is fairly consistent (inflation adjusted that is). So, a sizeable tax on those remittances should take care of them paying for the wall.
Besides, Trump never proclaimed when Mexico would pay for the wall, just that they would pay for the wall.

quote:Are you under the impression Mexico is a dictatorship?
Yea you never see those in Latin America.
Perhaps you lost track of what was being asserted?
This was the assertion.

Then the Mexican government can kiss its collective arse goodbye.
¿comprende?

Could not say it any better myself! They should sell bricks that you could put your name in it, I would be happy to pay for each of my family members.

You've never actually negotiated a business deal with the Chinese, have you? Otherwise, you wouldn't have posted that the Chinese won't do something you believe they won't do.

To your point though, I have negotiated major business deals.
But no, I've never negotiated a business deal with the Chinese.
I've never negotiated a deal with Donald Trump either.
Trump OTOH has negotiated deals with the Chinese.
The Chinese have negotiated deals with Trump.
Again, this basically boils down to a history of the lesser economy -- China -- dictating economic terms to the greater economy -- the United States. Your assumption seems to be that is the way it must continue to be.
It is an incorrect assumption.
