Information is a weapon of war. They'll be coming for that too.

If a guy is walking into a school or a movie theater intent on killing everyone with a gun, do you believe the type of gun he has is irrelevant? If you were in the theater, would you care what type of weapon he was about to use?

Of course it is. The better question is "why the frick does it matter?". When you deny the full utility of an AR15 you let the leftists and the cucks set the resolution for the debate.

And please, before anyone gets any ideas about enlightening me on the various extremely unimportant differences between the AR and M models, save it. I don't care.

I believe the semi-automatic AR-15 was marketed for civilian and law enforcement use while the AR-10 and M-16 were for military use, as they were automatics.

But why does it matter? Should we need to stand up to tyranny, why should our small arms be nothing more than sticks and stones?

Anything is a weapon of war, look at war in the past, it involves everything from napalm to chlorine to rocks to bullets to disease... laws won't control the unlawful..

I wonder how the poor Australians and British manage to stand up to tyranny sans these weapons.

Yep - comes across as disingenuous.

An AR is a lethal weapon in most hands whether it's true semi-auto, three-round burst, or the old M 16-style full-auto. No need to obfuscate that.

Their liberties are being eroded every day. At some point enough will be enough and the people will have no way to hit the reset button.
