Any Conservative/Republican that votes for Maness Tuesday is ostensively voting for Landrieu.

^^^^

And throwing it into a runoff, especially if control of the Senate is in the balance, will give the Dems time to pull all sorts of stuff for which they are famous.

Especially in New Orleans.

If Cassidy and all other Republicans would drop out then Maness would win.

Sorry, but you're fooling yourself if you think Maness could beat Landrieu.

For Gawd's sake, his answer to solving the SS problem is "for all parties to come to the table".

All those former Landrieu voters who had voted for Cassidy would flock right back to her.

EBR Republicans did, which surprised me.

Do you think Cassidy is more bonafide than Maness?

I think they're both laughable, Landrieu as well.

Heard them talking about this on KPEL this morning.

Apparently during an interview with a KPEL guy, Maness referred to himself as a "political novice". Later in the interview when the KPEL guy questioned him about being a political novice, it sounded like Maness lost it. Became totally unhinged and stormed out of the interview. The Maness camp called back later to explain Maness was "disheveled" due to lack of sleep from being on the campaign trail.

The interviewer wondered how Maness expected to handle Harry Reid if he couldn't deal with direct questioning from some KPEL reporter.

Sounded like a very bizarre situation.
