Variety magazine reports that Anderson Cooper makes $12 million per year.
Assuming that is straight salary (no pun intended)... Did he recoil or quibble?
Edit: Yes, I know that $2 million would be subject to the 70 percent, but that's still tough to swallow (puns galore), especially knowing 70 percent of any subsequent pay raise would go straight (oops) to Washington, D.C.
And of course, Mr. Cooper, instead of getting hanged by taxes, would seek loopholes
