The good thing in all of this is the fact that liberal jurisprudence is being forced to play all of its cards it has had in reserve for decades.
Trump in his third and fourth year will be awesome to behold and the lefts bag of tricks will be empty. Of course, they could send assassins after him like the did Reagan?

SCOTUS will just have to spank some more judges. If there were any real justice these people would all be removed, because the rule of law has nothing to do with how they rule
I would love a three strike policy. If you were over ruled by SCOTUS three times you are automatically removed from the bench.

quote:I think the judge actually said Trump has the right to overturn DACA but the reason for doing so was unacceptable. Therefore denied.
What one EO can create, another EO should be able to undo without having to tapdance through the judicial system. That any judge put a hold on moving forward to undo this, to me, is overstepping their authority.
That is completely fricked up.

If he has the legal right to do it then how is the reasoning change that?

Agreed.

The question before the court is thus not whether defendants could end the DACA program, but whether they offered legally adequate reasons for doing so,” wrote Judge Garaufis, a Clinton appointee to the court in New York. “Based on its review of the record before it, the court concludes that defendants have not done so.”
That is the definition of an activist judge. Not upholding the law based on the constitution but delivering a verdict based on ideology.

The Executive has just as much authority to decide what it believes is, and is not, constitutional as any other branch.
Regardless, the fact that Trump gave Congress 6 months to work this out takes care of any procedural due process question which these dumbasses could possibly believe applies.
