Perhaps this is the way you see it but I don't think you can find supporting info that others do.

Remember, this exact situation has never taken place before for officers to express their personal feelings.

BTW, people took orders when I was in there. Nobody performed their duties based on their "support". We took orders ... period.

Can you see an officer deciding what duties they would perform based on their "support" under L.B.J.?
