It looks like the vote was just that the previous court violated something and the ruling was on "that", not actually on the ability of the baker to refuse service. Which sucks. I want to see libs crying today.
A constant that I have read in this case and the SC one, is that they flat out told the couples, that they would sell & serve them anything they wanted from the bakery. Even gave them names and numbers for other bakeries they knew would serve them. They simply would not do it for the wedding.

I'm not such a libertarian purist that I think that businesses should be able to discriminate against people for no reason however
What? Business in fact CAN discriminate against customers for NO reason at all.
I am perfectly free to hang a sign up that says "I refuse the right to refuse service"
That's what makes the anti discrimination laws so stupid. They don't even outlaw discrimination, they merely outlaw CERTAIN discrimination.
If a one legged gay Muslim hobbled into your store and you simply said "I can't help you" without giving any reason they would have a hard time winning a case against you.

I don't think it's really that productive to have discussions defending or attacking a particular ideology.
He knows he's being disingenuous. It's very convenient.
"Oh noz........I wouldn't like those types of discrimination either".........all while knowing that it is HIS people that are choosing to protect only SOME people.
So, he wants to shift the ground.
It isn't like we haven't seem him do this before.
