I mean let’s be honest, at her core she’s nothing more than a piece of arse like every other woman on the planet.

I don't know if obsession is the right word, but there are a lot of interesting things about her (well the fact she got elected more than her sweater puppies or whatever).
1) The Democratic Party is going to change or it is no longer viable.
Good, bad, evil or indifferent, whether you think the ideology is dumb, at least what she and Bernie Sanders are saying has a base.
What Chuck and Nancy are pitching really only resonates with people like them, coastal elites. Truth be told, the pair make black voters' butts pucker. The current Democratic Party is a very unstable coalition of competing interest groups.
2) More interesting than her "clash" with Republicans, is the reaction of the current Democratic Leadership to her.
Think we are seeing, "The Old Order changeth, giving way to new."
3) She's crazy. And not too smart. At some point someone with real political chops is going to position himself (or herself) to use the forces that led to her election to win a race. Then we are going to see the Democrats morph into ... something else, whatever that may be.

Science is over thinking this.
There's something about a woefully ignorant pretty girl with a great rack that makes you want to blow a load on her face and walk away.
It's that simple.

Or it could be a strategy to paint the Dems as left wing as possible to potentially shift moderate voters to their side.
But I get why you want to paint the “muh feelings” angle.
Scalise tried to have a twitter debate with her and it just turned into her crew lobbing death threats at Scalise. What does “science” say about that???
