yeah, stupid cop driver drove his car 4 ft from the kid and put his partner's life in danger (or, so he thought). If he parks in the lot where he and his partner can open their doors and crouch behind them, there might not have ever been a shot fired.
At least they would've been able to do an onsite situation evaluation.
