This would make the situation with Turkey moving military into Syria more interesting. Considering that Iran had strong ties with Syrian regime.
Turkey is not trustworthy now over the past 10 yrs. They were partners and acquired work on the F-35 program and were to buy F-35s. The US has banned them from having them the last I heard because they had bought the S-400 anti aircraft missile system from Russia.
Boy if this happens with this defense pact, that will a huge failure on the US foreign policy. What becomes of the Abraham Accords if that happens.

If they want to do their own thing, by all means, let them. We can do ours as well. We should trust them as much as they trust us. But when the fire starts, we respond with a much larger fire.
People forget that 90 years ago the King of Saud was riding around on a camel with his national treasury in a knapsack.
