The mayor of New York is a much tougher job than senator and is more equal to a governor's job, although much bigger than the governor of most states.

If he were naming a senator like, say, John Kerry or Hillary Clinton, would anyone blink?

Rudy is known the world over and would be a fit for virtually any role.

I'd rather Newt at SOS.

Keep in mind. Trump has constantly tricked and outmanuvered the media. I wouldn't really take much into account until the announcements are made.

Rudy has been the most staunch of supporters. I would be surprised if he didn't have a major part in the administration.

58,
You are not missing anything.

If it were not for 9/11, Giuliani would be a name on a plaque on a park bench in his home borough.

I think trump knows him and appreciates him. Home boys.

We have no idea what passed between them all those years. Maybe Giuliani got Trump and Marla maples a good table at a great restaurant.

that's not why Christie got demoted...Trump used Christie as a liaison to to REP Governors and State Party Officials...Christie put Jared Kushner's father in Fed Prison for tax evasion...they hate each other...Kushner is too close to Trump
