Iran asked for Vance because he has openly criticized the US's major partner in the Iran war. Kushner and Witkoff are obviously too biased on that aspect.
is Vance probably more eager to end the war rather than letting our partner drag us into more broken ceasefires, sure thats probably a big reasn behind Trumps shift over the last few months
