Rolling Stone continues the war on speech

If anyone follows Wranglerstar on YouTube, he is now the subject of a hit piece in Rolling Stone and is now in the crosshairs of the cancel movement, in their effort to destroy free speech and violate civil rights.
He just released a video saying he's been contacted by law enforcement saying there are some credible threats to him and his family.
For those that don't know who he is - he's an outdoor guy. Works with tools, likes nature, self-reliant etc. Kind of a typical, patriotic, blue collar type of guy. Lives out in Oregon, I believe. Worked for the Forest Service doing wildland firefighting, I think. Had a successful YouTube channel while working for them, just sharing stuff he's learned about firefighting or working with chain saws, various tools, communications, wood working...just a smattering of stuff.
In a video he let his son wear something of his from the Forest Service and someone there got pissy about it - ended up losing his job. Since that time he's rightfully soured on the prospect that our government is a benevolent group.
He's now portrayed as part of the ultra right wing group that the left despises. So, they've sent Rolling Stone to start a campaign to cancel him. He has millions of subs on YouTube and I'm sure they'll be next in line to start purging him.
He made a ton of his videos private in a knee jerk reaction, not knowing what to do. He says that was the wrong thing to do, will undo it, and will essentially go on the offensive with this Rolling Stone stuff, rather than be defensive.
I guess we'll see how this turns out. I think he should just go the lawfare route and sue Rolling Stone. His latest, 6 minute video explaining his situation

I don't know who he is. However, I don't give a shite if he is a right-wing extremist. It's his right to believe what he wants as long as he is committing no crime.
If youtube hasn't deleted his channel, then I highly doubt he has said or done anything all that controversial. He has 2 million subs so it's not like he is some random dude who slipped through the cracks.
