1) I have seen no confirmation of this. So, it may not be true
2) The supposed reason is to answer questions about previous testimony to the committee (I think). So, if there is a discrepancy, between what was said earlier and what was said to Mueller..they may want to clear that up.
3) It may be a GOOD thing. This may be something that is helpful.

Really? I know you already know why.
However I'll explain for those you seem to want me to explain it to.
"Republican led" is rhetoric used by the media to make it seem as the majority of the senate (R's) are going after Trump when in reality it's just a fluff piece that a McCain type (R) is being used as the poster child for this attack, which will come back and bite them on the arse btw.

Who said this committee was "going after" anyone. They subpoenaed someone. Hell, I was served a subpoena because I had valuable information pertinent to a claim. I was never "gone after" and was not treated poorly in any way.

I'm not saying the senate is going after DTjr, I'm saying this is how the lying media will paint it.
We know that he doesn't have to testify, we also know that the tide has turned and this may be set in motion for the purpose of exposing the mob style rule, but in the end the CNN type media outlets will use this as feul for the ones who feed on their lies and manipulation.

I am open to hearing facts. I don't assume a "side" without knowing the facts. Again, I am not anti-DJTj in the least. But, I don't know what this is about so I'll not get my dander up...yet
