This is from their shite quality firearms since they bought out Marlin and Bushmaster a number of others and fell under the control of Cerebus.

Their flagship line, Remington, has been shite for years.

It's a goddamn crime what they did to Marlin.

I feel as if I know you ... MarlinOwners?

Did you ever have the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a Remlin?

And even after the gave us the grand tour of their new Alabama facility and promised to get QC back under control ... it was all just a lie. They never planned to move production to Alabama.

Grandad's Navy issue 1911 still works like a champ 75 years later.

Remington, Rock Island, Union Switch and Signal ... they all made 1911s pre-WWII ... I own a collection that includes all samples and even a few original engineer's drawings and blueprints.

Colt is the standard 1911. Remington quit making them years ago about the time they quit making type writers but before they actually quit making sewing machines you might say.

All Remington products are shite now. I've got two friends up in their Charlotte office who say customer service became a nightmare in 2008 and it has never stopped ... the complaints only get worse.

A lot of LGS will not even carry them any longer unless they are pre-Remington used trades.

Remington's products have been trash for a while.

This is what happens when you let money people who have the right golf memberships but don't understand the fundamentals of a business or its customers take charge.

Particularly when the company has dozens of nimble competitors that make high quality alternatives.

They sold millions of these to customers...who will never buy another Remington again.

Don't own a Marlin and never really commented on them. Dad owned a couple while I was growing up and I sold them for a few years. Just sad to see something that had been so gorgeous and so respected when I was a kid become something so cheap and unreliable as an adult.
