Then do you really not remember this? Surely you remember the Central American activities(and hearings on the same) and Iran hostage deal. Maybe you were lucky as far as he economy--the up on the trickle down theory.

Reagan's value was that he restored some pride, and some hope, in the American people after the 60's, Nixon and Carter. National moral was at it's lowest during the Carter administration.
Most people, even conservatives..were disappointed at the end of his presidency. He did however help people recover from the Carter years
