He has already proven to be a huge RINO. His numbers are in the tank and rightfully so. He had all the momentum in the world to make some serious changes in Louisiana and he decided to dangle from Gordon and the trial attorney's ball bags. He's cooked and will likely be the reason we see another Democrat governor in a deep red state.

Mr New Iberia haircut should stay out of sports. He’s given away a US Congressional seat for vengeance on Garrett Graves not supporting him for governor, Gave us fake closed primaries and wants to spend $150 million on new election machines.

But it isn't public money.

It is only referred to as that because LSU is a state university. LSU Football contributes $ to the school.

LSU Football makes $ from TV. It gets a share of $ from other SEC schools.

Do you even know how much $ LSU Football brings in? How much $ LSU Football gets for the mandatory "contribution" season ticket holders must pay for the privilege of buying season tickets? How much $ TAF gets in donations?

Louisiana doesn't pay coaching salaries.

"It's considered public money" I provided a link and proved you wrong. Type whatever you want, spin it anyway you want.

Ahh yes, let’s re-elect the governor that injected himself heavily into the search for a coach for the state’s football team.

I was against him doing so but it worked out just fine.

While not tax dollars, the athletics department’s budget, primarily fueled with self-generated revenue, is still considered public money. All public universities in Louisiana are primarily funded with self-generated funds, such as tuition and fee revenue. The spending of that revenue requires legislative approval. Of the LSU System’s $1.2 billion budget for the current fiscal year, more than $800 million comes from self-generated revenue.
