Driving between LC and BR on Sunday, I was flipping through radio stations. I came across an interview with a woman’s voice talking about the dangers of transing children. I listened for a few minutes, and fell down a rabbit hole. The woman is a trans f to m (chick in dude face) that calls herself “Scott Newgent”. Everything referring to this person on the interwebs calls this individual a “he” (whether or not I agree with that), so I’m going to refer to this person as a “he” for ease of getting this person’s message across.

Things I heard:

1. Greg Abbot has taken a shite ton of money from trans lobbyists and has gone soft on the issue. Over $3,000,000 total. This would explain why he has weirdly started preaching “tolerance” of child abuse.

2. The tort reforms in TX allow “doctors” performing trans mutilation surgery to be free from accountability. There is no baseline for transgender surgery, therefore without spending millions of dollars to establish a baseline of care, it is impossible to sue transgender surgery doctors in TX for malpractice.
This Scott Newgent person had a phalloplasty (aka addadicktome) surgery in TX where the doctor fricked up horribly and “he” ended up with hair growing in “his” urethra (that resulted in a massive infection that almost killed “him”). “He” could not sue the doctor for such an obvious frick up because there is no baseline for care.

3. The company that makes puberty blockers, Lupron, has been in serious trouble with the law before. There are a lot of lies being told about their drugs, like they are reversible (they aren't).

Just wondering what Texans in the fields of law or medicine or those interested in politics think of this person’s statements.

Link to a very in-depth interview with this person (it rambles all over the place, but this is a serious subject with serious ramifications, so worth a read or listen, imvho):

OML, this seems right up your alley. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Wheels is much like eye patch McCain. Says a lot of stuff but is very soft with the globalist. He really sucks but is much better then Beta.

His primaries did a really spectacular job of missing on his shortcomings. Almost like it was planted.

Is TX really a paradise for experimental trans surgery? That seems crazy, but if an adult that transitions is worth hundreds of thousands of $ for artificial hormone replacement, a kid is worth millions over their lifetimes. Why are Texans putting up with this?!?

Or is this person full of shite?

Texas has cancer.

It started in Austin and now it's spreading everywhere.

It's probably terminal.

I live 40 miles north of Austin. I have yet to meet somebody from California that doesn’t acknowledge why they left and act accordingly.

I have yet to meet somebody that moves here from Austin that doesn’t bring their BS with them.

They made their city uninhabitable and then move out to spread their mistakes.

My neighborhood is a historic artsy district, so it’s a bit liberal anyways, but the amount of Pride flags (the new ugly one, not the classic one that at least had a little panache) has popped up everywhere and it’s almost exclusively people new to the neighborhood.

Sorry to hear about your community's diagnosis.

This year will be pretty telling. Normally my county carries Red. Bell and Williamson County were both solidly red 8 years ago, but Williamson went for Beto, Hagar, and Biden. Bell county kept the seat for Carter (who sucks, but what are you going to do?)

I don't think the democrats are even running somebody for US House, but i won't be completely shocked if we go for Beto this year. I also will be planning my exit strategy from BellCo.
