If the Republicans are smart they will let him ride out his term without looking bad for coming after him for petty politics, that is unless he does something particular treacherous like letting an intern polish his knob on government property.
Impeachment has become too easy a weapon to roll out. It has occurred very infrequently until the recent future. Repubs shouldn't use lightly because when one of theirs gets in office it surely can and will be turned at them.

I think the current republican party may go ahead and lose the next general election as well.

Every day Obama is in office they lose more moderate and independent voters
