I learned everything I need to know about the mindset of him and his wife when I read what some of the royal duties that he actually had were at the time he abdicated. The royal family makes a point of doing things like going to assisted living facilities, going to veterans homes, opening libraries and generally doing what they can to interact with the regular people of the UK. Lots of ribbon cutting where they show up at some new health care facility in Yorkshire or whatever and shake hands. They also donate a lot.
Harry says he cares about the downtrodden and what not but as a royal he was in a perfect position to help them immensely and even meet and interact with them regularly. Meghan too. Thing is they don't want to, they want to fly around the world with the Davos crowd telling everyone how racist and terrible we are. All while she tries to get reality shows and cartoon voice over gigs.
The thought of actually having to interact with regular British people on a regular basis was abhorrent to these two. They want instead to fly around the world with the Bezos/Gates types. The notion of having to have a brief conversation with some guy from Sunderland who lives on 50k a year is so grotesque to Harry and Meghan they literally gave up on the country entirely. These people are vile.

Eh. Seeming like a good guy and actually being a good guy are two different things. Yeah, I respected his decision to serve in the military, but this is a guy that goes to parties dressed as a Nazi. Not that I agree with cancel culture or anything, but I'm more inclined to believe that he joined the military in an attempt to move up the ladder of succession. Then, when he didn't move up that ladder, he got his butt hurt and started turning against his own family. Breaking tradition, marrying someone he shouldn't marry, practically disowning the royal family, and now throwing them under the bus.
I think he's throwing a tantrum personally. And I don't view any of the royals as "good people." Imo they're all as corrupt as the day is long.

I agree with most of what you say but please don't place Harry & Megan in the same sentence as the Queen regarding white privilege. I agree that a lot of the Royals benefit from the hard work from The Queen as she is the hardest working person on earth.
Harry has been brain-washed by Megan who came in with an agenda and is gradually enacting it. She's a nasty bit of work and doesn't have the class to survive the mechanics that come with the duties of being a royal! She doesn't want to have to put in the work that the working Royals do, instead she acts entitled. Why can't she just look pretty like her buddies the Kardashians and get paid? Ha. It's true!
This is all about work ethic which has been conveniently packaged up to look like racism.
She moans about the British media - but did she actually see what the media did to Diana or Fergie? They were not treated any differently. The only thing that Diana and Fergie had was class and a sense of humor.
She's just a brat who has no place in the Royal family.

I would also note the RF are supposed to be politically neutral and not express overt political opinions at least in public anyway. Can't imagine the Queen is pleased with Harry being so vocal with these "woke" politics especially in the U.S. and its this toxic political environment. Its ridiculous because the Commonwealth is basically a benign organization simply to advance common interests among the old colonies.

He was never going to be king, he’s too far back in line, but he’s also an illegitimate child, so they would avoid that.
