It’s practically still April (or, at least it was when seniors finished).

Does Bama just kinda go “close enough” on these things?

It's always been the first weekend in May but is was not the actual commencement though. There isn't a central ceremony as there are several spread out over the weekend. They are quick affairs with the graduates marching in, the president making a few remarks and then the graduates receiving their diplomas.

I’m impressed with Trump’s speech so far. He actually is addressing the students and their accomplishments instead of going into his standard MAGA stump speech

I started listening when he was on point number seven and I was sort of disappointed because he was going off script and started talking about the border and transgender and I don’t know. He even said I’m probably going to get in trouble for this because my wife says it’s not presidential but oh well and then he went on as he does.

You know I love Trump, but sometimes he is just he can’t help himself and that’s the part that frustrate

The speech is supposed to be about the students and you just give them advice you keep it short and sweep into the point, but Trump does not know how to do that. That’s just an honest assessment you take the good with the bad with Donald.

Some football coach named Saban speaking now.

Follow the money. I didn’t even think about Nick Saban’s ownership of the Mercedes Dealership in Birmingham last night. It all makes sense now. “Cha-Ching!” has always been a key component of Sabear’s “process”!

Tariffs Push Mercedes To Expand US Production: Mercedes to Add High-Volume Model to US Assembly Lines…

Trump administration tariffs are pushing automakers to consider heavier US-based production and assembly options. Mercedes-Benz is taking a committed stance.

Alabama probably isn’t the first place you think of when you hear the words “Mercedes-Benz,” but if you’re familiar with the brand, it might not be far down the list. Tuscaloosa, Alabama has been home to Mercedes-Benz production for nearly three decades. The new tariffs on imported autos and auto parts have automakers scurrying to find workarounds and solutions. In Mercedes’ case, it’s bringing assembly of what the automaker calls a “core segment vehicle” Stateside...
