BY the way LBJs wife owned a shipping company that made
millions shipping arms to Vietnam.Thats a fact.
LBJ was also supported by Brown and Root Construction Company. At that time, the largest Construction Company on the planet. Brown and Root was to Vietnam what Halliburton was to Iraq war.
LBJ and Lady Bird owned much of General Dynamics Corp.
Google TFX
General Dynamics was also the involved in Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines.

I'm still waiting for you to explain your "point of strength" comment.
YES, our navy was present to facilitate evacuation of residual citizens and our embassy, as well as a very small presence of military and equipment to support what was left, but the military had long been sent home, and our involvement in the war ended two years prior.
The fact is, the war was ended at a point of strength from bombing the north, which is what brought the North back to the negotiating table, without which we couldn’t have brought an end to the war. Use your head man. You’re trying to tie an evacuation of our embassy and abandoning those who were pro American to a President who wasn’t even President in 1975.
The war was most certainly ended only when we flexed our muscle and bombed that which was off limits to bombing under LBJ, where the stockpiles of weaponry was stored in the North, where the commies knew good and well they could store their war making men and material without the threat of being annihilated. Only when that happened did the North realize that it was unsustainable and they could not survive it.
If you ask any soldier from the North today what they feared most of all, it was carpet bombing from the air from B52’s. That is what brought an end to hostilities between the North Vietnamese and America.
