The whole building is full of crooks who are stealing from the American people. Hegseth is trying to combat that, of course they’ll leak something every chance they get.

He's there now. The President appointed him. The President can fire him. The President has not fired him. So he's SECDEF in my view. Having a Bronze Start doesn't hurt.

There were some appointments I thought worth fighting over (Tulsi and Kash). Pete was always very meh to me. He doesn't seem like the brightest guy. But, I understand why the administration wouldn't want to give in to the cancel mobs, so it's a tough call on when to bail from an appointment.

and honestly, what Parnell said does have a lot of evidence…the media clearly enthusiastically runs many stories with sensational headlines in an attempt to smear Republican political figures they don’t like. the evidence is in the papers every day, in the Twitter files, in their own writers tweets, etc.

Ive heard many many stories about him liking the bottle and possibly being a bit chatty with a couple of women folk.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with that, hes a good looking dude, probably has a lot of pull. But with pull comes power and with power you need the upmost control.
If you dont drink at all you have total control, I dont like leaders who cant stay away from the bottle, sorry if you disagree.
Its one of the main reasons I like Trump, hes always clear minded even if I may not agree with what he has to say.

That is one thing I will give Trump: he speaks his mind clear of any substance/influence and cannot be charged with any medication or alcohol abuse
