Not a strawman at all. It is clear what her context was & what she was saying.

The strawman was what you said...not her.

What did you interpret the message to be?
just curious.

That a slow struggle against injustice and oppression can be victorious- it was obvious she was referencing the civil rights movment and telling people to draw strength from the example of the heroes of the past.

So just a spontaneous, unasked for history lesson? Odd.
If it was meant to be more current than a history lesson, what "struggle for rights" could she possibly be referring to?

Do you get a handle to what she might have meant??

Yep one step above the grade school level "I don't understand... So I can't answer".

I'm not talking about that.

Dale said it was "a spontaneous unasked for history lesson". No one said it was that. How did he come to that conclusion. I would like him to explain

Not really, the civil rights movement is a lot less remote than say the Revolutionary War but the Tea Party loved to cosplay and pretend they were revolutionaries.

She wants blood and death in the streets?

I honest to God hope she gets her wish. MILLIONS of gallons of liberal blood in the streets.

Checking back in.

Yes someone did. I did. You even pointed that out.

It wasn't a conclusion I arrived at, it was a suggestion as to some kind of reason for Lynch to bring the whole, "get out in the streets and don't be afraid to fight"..out of any realistic and current events.

My point being that there is no parallel in America in 2017, that could possibly have context to her.. worry?.. about some great "rights" struggle going on that would have context to her call to "take to the streets with greater commitment, and maybe get 'bloody', or possible die" Again....I'll ask. What "rights" are being denied any American i n 2017?

Is passage of the LSAT a requisite for being smart, or, do you have to be smart to pass the LSAT?
