You're better off adjusting for interactions with law enforcement and factoring in crimes committed..

We can all agree that the ratio thing doesnt work. If we scaled the number of blacks killed/population up to the whites killed/population, it would be immensely uneven.

So the question is, why are blacks being killed at a higher rate? That's the debate. The numbers don't lie.

Are blacks more inclined to behave aggressively towards law enforcement officers? The question cannot mathematically still be if it's happening, but why.

But as usual, I'm aware I could be wrong, but a decent answer instead of yelling and insulting and downvotes would help everyone understand more I think.

Now just raise your kids right so they know that hanging out and night, with guns, in a car with others, doing or dealing drugs will get you face time with a cop. Once this happens, the amount of times a cop has the chance to shoot a person of color will drop dramatically. Or if you can't do that, that is raise your kids right, then at least teach the dumb fricks that fighting a cop will get you shot.

I'm not sure why race matters. What matters is the interaction of the cop and alleged criminal. But, then again, who am I kidding? This is the Washington Post.
