Plausible way the Norway comment actually went

The President met with the Norway prime minister the day before. His comment is more of ‘the people of Norway are great people after just meeting with their leader, these would be good immigrants’ etc.....

It’s not even arguable that Haiti is a shithole.
Why we should accept just any old body from there is a valid question (looking at you, employers).
Africa is a big arse continent. Hard to generalize there as much.

What is wrong with letting white people come to America?
What is wrong with Christians coming to America?
Why are only black, Hispanic or Muslim trash allowed to immigrate here?
Why can’t a Christian family from Poland move here? Or Norway? Or South Africa?
Why only filthy Muslims or non-whites allowed?

Who is arguing white immigrants aren’t allowed? By what I’ve seen the only bans or restrictions or even the comments today have been solely geared towards countries that are predominantly non-white.
Outside of super extremists or satire — is the a movement to ban immigration from polish families? Or Christians?

What does calling African nations shite holes have to do with praising Norway? The White House isn’t even denying that he said it.
If anything, the Norway comment makes it more embarrassing. The fricking idiot couldn’t even think of another country besides the one he just met with the leader of. As if Norwegians are breaking down the door trying to come to America! If Trump wants to promote Norwegian immigration, the most effective thing he could do would be to resign.

Obama had the navy literally sinking immigrant boats that had christians or white people on them
Trump only recently rescinded this order even though John Mccain threatened to blow up Christian boats like he blew up the USS Forrestal
