We don't live in Archie Bunker land these days. Where are all these men keeping women buried under their feet? I never see it.
I don't know what you're talking about.

That's strongly worded. You seem entirely sure of your statement, which is fine I guess. I just have never seen evidence presented that made me as confident, one way or the other. I think "life" is a sliding scale that the zygote travels along, and it's not, qualitatively, a human at the earliest stages.

Might be strongly worded, but factually correct. There is no sliding scale of life. Something is either alive or it isn't. Something is either a unique organism or it isn't. You might make something up to negate the "personhood" of the zygote, but no amount of philosophy will negate that it is a living, unique homo sapiens sapiens.

So you would save the 100 embryos?

It is a dumb question. It doesn't reveal what it is designed to reveal. Anything you infer from the question is only reflective of the mark, and not of the actuality that the embryos are people too.

You sure do have to come up with some wacky stuff to try and justify your lie that abortion is murder.

I agree the hypothetical is stupid. If you find my statement wacky then you should find the whole thing wacky. Because it is. I pointed out a half dozen logical fallacies in the question.

You know what I find wacky? Using arbitrary standards to dehumanize a person, so that it is ok to kill them. I don't care if the standard is viability or health or color. When someone argus a person is less than as a justification to kill them it is always wrong.
