his standup and sketch routines were controversial when they aired. His show, specifically, is on HBO streaming right now. His newer standups just came out within the past few years. His stuff isn't some obscure thing someone would have to figure out how it's offensive. It's right in your face. If they were going to cancel Chappelle, they would have already. But like I said, even if they tried, he wouldn't care

Have you been paying attention to the news? And yes Chapelle won’t give a frick and will refuse to apologize, but what about Netflix? Netflix recently lectured doctors and nurses to not do their jobs differentiating boys and girls and not giving trans girls pink hospital gowns, despite the practical fact that pink covers up blood and bile, while blue shows it and they don’t give out pink hospital gowns to anyone for this reason. In the Game of Thrones books, the Boltons deliberately wear pink so people are unsure if they’ve just come back from brutally torturing someone to death.

I do think they can put him down more to a more successful Norm Macdonald status if they tried. Also Louie was the biggest stand up comedian in the world when he was cancelled, so there is precedence for this.

Louie isn’t Dave. I hardly remember Louie’s stuff, but I can quote Dave’s stuff to this day.

I've been watching some of his old shows from like 18 years ago. He hinted at himself getting canceled. Maybe he is a time travler?
