10,000 more registered as indie than as GOP Thrre New Orleans GOP often endorses the most conservative Dem in a race because no GOP is running it it.
If you were around before Jungle Primaries almost everyone was a registered Dem so they could even vote in local races. They were almost all more conservative than any Republican alive.
