Yes, but what he's saying is this.
Let's say you read the email and it says "the body is in the park under the big oak"
Now you can't just go the park and dig up the body because you have to explain to the court HOW you found that body.
But what you CAN do is is use your knowledge of where that body is to do further investigation.
Heck, I'll give you a real world example from one of my own cases.
We had a arrested a soldier for murder and he confessed, told us where the body was and everything. His lawyer got the confession tossed. The entire thing thrown out.
Well, we knew he did it, and we knew where the body was, but we couldn't develop the case based on anything said in his confession.
No problem, you just have to figure out a different way to get the information . But once you KNOW the information it is easier to figure out another way to get it.
In this case the a simple drug sting set up near the location of the body with a drug dog involved resulted in the discovery of a body.
Perfectly legal.

True. But this isn't about a conviction. This is about impeachment. Mueller is dirty and it taints everything. Would certainly go to his credibility even in a criminal matter.
If Trump is dirty I'd love to know. The emails would have been leaked if there was anything big. This is just evidence of Mueller being dirty.

Exactly. You can't unknow something. Good explanation.

Agreed. And the distinction is key here. It may play better for Kushner than it does for Trump. If he were tried by the Senate, they set their own rules for evidence (if I understand correctly).

Mueller didn't get an ethics opinion and reviewed privileged info. If he didn't ask for an opinion and he kept the info. It is a violation of his duty.
You’re way out here. Maybe you call Plattsmire’s Office for a chat, but who does the republican appointed special prosecutor call?
Besides , I’d be willing to wager that none of this is attorney client privilege anyway. Trump Jr says that chats with Trump Sr are attorney client communication and neither is an attorney. Also the privilege is much more narrow than these tv talking heads suggest. Not every communication with a lawyer is privileged.
But of course none of us have seen the emails so we can’t evaluate them for potential privilege. This is, quite frankly, a fluff propaganda discussion.
