Or the flip side of the coin, after many, many years of foregone conclusion that aliens will simply zap us and turn into a pile of ashes with their phasers, while we’re trying to hit them with an old school bullet which they can outrun……..come to find ouf they’re no better than a bunch of damn Russians.

When the aliens finally arrive, do they..
A) Wipe out all dumbasses and roll the actual intelligent people into the fold; but leaving the possibility of an intelligent, future revolt?
..or..
B) Wipe out all the intelligent people and use the dumbasses as slave labor; knowing they won’t have the mental capacity, in the future, to mount a successful rebellion?
