Child predators run rampant in these types of scenarios, the pedophiles need tombe delt with before any funds are allocated towards foster care, it's run by deviants from the top down

Yeah that obviously needs to be addressed

I think the system likely needs a pretty comprehensive overhaul

Anyone working in that system should have to undergo thorough psych evaluations and background checks for starters and mechanisms need to be put in place to prevent abuse.

Literally none of them would pass, I'm not sure how much time you spent in that system, but I can tell you personally it needs to fricking burn.

By the way when I say "fix" I mean improve

I'm not under any delusion that we will completely eliminate homelessness. But if we can significantly reduce it moving forward then that would be a worthwhile investment. Unless you think having more homeless people is awesome.

You are under the delusion that it can be improved upon in a meaningful manner.

As someone who has done this it’s already extremely time consuming exhausting and takes way more time than people that work full time are typically able to invest. Maybe the cost of entry is already to high I don’t know the answer. Good questions are being asked.

How do you feel about reopening the asylums and getting the mentally ill off the street?

I think it's generally a good idea. But I don't know if it's something that could happen quickly because how are we going to staff these asylums overnight?

I wonder what other things you think are impossible

Maybe you're just a defeatist and serve no purpose

Giving a liberal "common sense" might be #1 on the list.

I don’t mean this in a derogatory way but I think everything can be improved, I feel like that’s a very defeatist attitude. I don’t know how that’s not my job but we can help, maybe not end it but we can help.

I am like most productive Americans:

I dont have the space, time, or money to foster a kid without parents.
