Pretty sure they are. It's in the U.S.'s interests to keep everyone else engaged in internal fighting and at each other's throats. It's in Israel's interest to keep all the major world players engaged in internal fighting and at each other's throats. All our politicians on either side of the aisle crying and waving Israeli flags isn't a matter of personal conviction. It demonstrates Israel is paid up with the deep state. Doesn't mean they're the only ones paying people off, but they are clearly one of the major funders of U.S. policy.
