Why does this bother you? As long as the school doesn't compel it, I see no problem with people praying at school or having religious clubs.

Pretty soon it will be this on all the buildings in North America and Europe instead:

Even if you aren't a Christian, something is going to fill that religious vacuum and it will be a bit less forgiving.

I love looking at pictures of NY’s skyline pre-1960s before the duplo blocks took over.

Coincidentally, the building on the right is now The Trump Building

No, libs wouldn't lose their minds. Nobody would care.

You're joking, right? There are lefties that complain about female characters in video games having more feminine movements than male characters and not being able to be figs when playing a story line. A group of leftists say Black Panther shows how black society would be if not for those meddling white people, while another group of leftists say it represents an alt-right wet dream. Liberals bitched until a coach was fired for kneeling and praying silently by himself after games. Complaining about inconsequential shite is a hobby for a lot of people that vote democrat.

Liberals protested a donut shop that worked with the Salvation Army to provide a Christmas dinner and need items for a homeless family.

quote:

The Holy Donut had asked customers to help them with a gift drive for a local family with five children. Those customers who participated received free doughnuts.

Instead of saluting the doughnut shop for doing a good deed – an online mob stormed their Facebook page. Many accused the Salvation Army of being anti-gay and discriminating against the LGBT community.

It was all untrue, of course – but the truth doesn’t really matter these days.

As unthinkable as it might be – a good number of the pro-LGBT protesters were upset that the donut shop dared to help a family in need during the Christmas season.

If there's anything you can count on besides death and taxes, it is that liberals will bitch about anything.

You know as well as I that that isn't what the folks who ask for more God in school are asking for...it's not just after school clubs. They want benedictions before games, before classes, prayers before each school day, religious classes taught, and don't forget most want creationism taught as often as evolution.

People whose solution to real world problems is to call upon imaginary skybeings from a 2000+ year old book is embarrassing to humanity's progress.

I don't have a problem with Christians. I have problems with Christians who think that everything would be A-OK if everyone just listened and followed what they have to say.

And I know people on the right that want to load blacks onto ships and send them back to Africa. Why do you entertain the fringe?

If they served Chic-fil-A in school you’d have a point.

how old were you in 1956? Tell us about it.

I was 4 years old ... just starting to realize what was going-on around me.

Music was good.

We went trick or treating with the older kids without worry of razors in apples or poison in candy ... and we came home with full bags.

No one knew where Vietnam was ... but I had two Uncles, on my Dad's side, fighting in Korea.

WWII was only 12 years behind us.

People married young, had multiple kids and worked hard at marriage and raising a family ... and staying together.

We watched The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night together as a family. Later I got to stay up and watch Bonanza.

We went to church every Sunday. Every Sunday. It was The Lord's Day ... and a family day for throwing ball in the yard, playing with the dogs, picnics on the lake and making home movies and good memories.

We always had breakfast and supper together as a family.

We rarely watched TV ... but when we did it was in black and white.

Families had one car (or farm truck) ... if that.

Dads worked, Moms were homemakers.

A big house was 1800 sq ft.

Air conditioners were a luxury few had. We had a big draw fan in the hallway that was turned on at night with the windows open ... it would cool the house down for the next day while we slept.

We went to bed early and got up early.

Drive-ins were how you saw movies.

Neighbors were important ... we looked after each other.

Crime mostly happened in the big cities.

There was one phone in the house, in the kitchen or living room ... and it had a dial on it.

Long distance phone calls were expensive but special ... that's how you got to talk to your grandparents on special occasions.

Everyone sent letters and postcards to stay in touch.

There was no violence in schools and if you got out of line your arse got paddled there and then when you got home again.

Grocery stores were local family run places on the corner.

Main Streets in every small town were booming.

You rarely saw foreign cars on the road, but when you did they were oddities.

You never heard vulgarities at home.

You believed in Santa Clause and The Easter Bunny at least until the 4th Grade and no one was in a hurry to spoil it for you.

It was innocent times.

Kids that hunt and fish don't steal and deal.

That's a fact Jack.

Incorrect. I always have a point. Sometimes, we just don't get to it because people get riled up.
