Inflation and Biden policies one year in, are causing retirement accounts to tumble, likely are in for a bad year.

Thanks Biden

If you have accessible retirement money, you should get it out of the bank and go purchase some land.

Already did. Now, if I could just find someone to thin it for me.

I'm no financial expert, but I would think you should be pulling out of the high risk investments if you are only 5 years from retirement.

Biden thinks this is an accomplishment because he’s reducing the number of peasant millionaires. Joe doing work!

Yeah it sucks for folks nearing retirement if they have not protected their investments.

For me, there is no better time for a correction. I retire in 25 years. Let's catch this sale.

Oh, I agree completely. I was going to move money around at the beginning of 2022. Two months too late. When you've tasted the "peak" , it's hard to tell a blip from a correction.

Agree, but outside of hard assets there’s really no alternative investments. Bonds likely will suck for the foreseeable future, crypto? I’m not convinced people should dump more than 10-20% of their cash in crypto, same with precious metals….the fiat monetary system has brought a lot of uncertainties for people who are trying to save for retirement or for those people who have retired. When interest rates on money market and savings accounts are near zero, 5 year CDs are less than 1% you know a hard crash and thud is inevitable.

He failed to correct the course which he could have. He instead piled onto the economic slide into oblivion

A bunch of the excess cash that has been floating around landed on speculative stocks in the tech realm. People are transitioning to things that actually make money now and not five years from now
