NRA Shows Up Late & Screws ‘Freedom To Carry’ Bill for NC Gun Owners

Progress on House Bill 189, now named “Freedom to Carry NC,” stalled on Wednesday after the NRA reportedly came out in opposition to the bill. NRA lobbyist DJ Spiker, who had been utterly absent from the debate over permitless concealed carry (and rarely seen at the legislature), showed up at the Judiciary 2 Committee meeting, which passed HB 189 on Tuesday, and began complaining about the bill’s contents.

It's not just current. If you look at some of the legislation they supported in the last 20 years any sane 2nd amendment supporter would stop giving them money.
I know they do a lot of good with education, matches etc but when you look at some of the shite they have not just supported but also drafted its over.

There were people back in the 90s that gave up on the NRA. I'm not sure why it still exists.

Not surprising, the NRA is terrible.
Donate to people who actually care about the 2nd Amendment: FPC, GOA, SAF, etc.

Present. Life member. Haven't given them a dime since the mid 90s. And they're still sending me magazines that I throw away. No matter how many times you write them or call, they won't stop wasting other's donations.
