The rest of the state seems to pride itself on not having changed since the 1950s.
So if Austin whose slogan is “Keep Austin Weird” is “mainstream and normal”, then maybe you are the one not normal.
And metropolitan Dallas and Houston areas are what they are due to the people that live in the suburbs and not because of those in the city limits.
I love how you believe that concentrated areas of poor and illiterate blacks and Hispanics are considered “mainstream and normal”.
