Is 'sailing from' somewhere the point of a cruise ? I thought it was to get out onto the open seas and where the trip TAKES you, the destination, not from where it leaves.
Man, that's a huge marketing fail.
I'd rather LEAVE Mississippi ( no offense ) than leave Florida.

The point is no one wants to go to Mississippi, and you can’t even get there from anywhere.
Florida is a place people want to go. Spend some time at Cocoa Beach. Go to Disney. Enjoy Miami, etc. People often spend a couple days before or after a cruise near the port.
