What a moronic stretch; it’s called the civil justice system, not a handout, and it’s there - in part - to award damages to people who have had their rights violated. Constitutional rights which we know libs don’t value - unless it benefits them of course.

The DOJ prosecuting a few school administrators for infringing 1st Amendment rights will end this insanity nationwide - bigly and with a quickness.

Courts will award punitive damages in the form of money above actual damages to a victim whose rights have been knowingly violated to teach the defendant a lesson never to do it again and as a deterrent to anyone thinking of doing the same thing.
