such nonsense.
holland has 2 years longer life expectancy than US.
they pay half what we pay.
they have twice the M.D. per capita.
my list makes your attempt at jingoism as reason to spend more for less look really stupid.
Just a minute of research shows much of your argument to be fallacious. Netherlands has insurance.
Spending is very very high. Limits are capped and low with a requirement to buy additional insurance to cover anything other than just basic PCP visits.
There is also this: "You can’t go directly to a specialist for treatment; you must have a referral from a huisarts. Most specialists work within a hospital setting – as ‘contractors’ instead of employees – rather than a specialist clinic, and waiting lists can be long."

How many months do they have to wait for a doctor to see them?

if they have more doctors why postulate a longer wait?
try something realistic like my brother is a hollywood doctor and he wants more money than hed get if we went to a system that values care more than doubling us md salaries/income.

IF true, that's partly because they can afford to sink more of their GDP into those areas because WE are paying the majority of the costs to protect their a$$es from being taken over by a hostile nation.

he keeps saying "why can't America have what other countries provide for half the money for HC?
Because if we didn't have to pay for their defense and freedom, we could have more money for HC here.
